Project Respect Pythons

Under the Respect Pythons initiative, WASA is working on nature conservation in the city as well as at the village level to guide the conservation of pythons without harming the pets of the farmers.

Under the Respect Pythons initiative, WASA is working on nature conservation in the city as well as at the village level to guide the conservation of pythons without harming the pets of the farmers.
We also monitor python dens, their habitat for better study of this mysterious reptile. We have conducted 3 years survey at Bhatkuli taluka of Amravati district (Maharashtra) with the permission of Regional Forest Department.
We also focus to educating sarpamitras - How to rescue pythons? Dealing with Pythons Rescue Situation,
WASA educates people how to co-exist with pythons.
We also monitor road mortalities of pythons, artificial eggs incubation, and the pray swallowed pythons. This project need financial support to complete it's initiative.
